To be effective, ROMPatches needs to be installed early on in the boot sequence. Please copy !ROMPatches to !Boot.Choices.Boot.PreDesk if RISC OS 4.02 or 5, or !Boot.Choices.User.Single (or your username).PreDesk for any other version of RISC OS 4 or 6.
